So after deciding to use the state planes as his own personal commuter flight for months and refusing to pay the people of Florida back -- Kottkamp is probably causing Charlie Crist some heartburn yet again. But, today Steve Bousquet has a great article following up an on a Charlie Crist promise from 18 months ago. In it he discusses how Jeff Kottkamp has angered other Crist appointees to the Children and Youth Cabinet by watering down their message to the legislature to protect funding for children. This is after Crist raided the Chiles fund.
Kotkamp even said an interview regarding pushing for children in the budget:
In my view, this is not the time to be overly aggressive with the Legislature. I think this is the time to let them know that we want to be partners in advocating for children.
When is the time to be aggressive, Jeff? When fighting to use your state plane to commute to Ft. Meyers and not pay us back?
So the real question is -- what does Charlie think about Kottkamp on signature issue? What does he think of the "Air Kottkamp" scandal? What does he think of his Lt. Governor at all?
