So the coffee is made and in about 30 minutes we'll be liveblogging Charlie Crist's appearance on Meet the Press. If you're looking for something to do in for the next half hour -- take a look at George P. Bush's comments on Charlie Crist (who he refused to actually name) and when your done make some more coffee.
See you in 30 minutes, because, it's Sunday, its meet the Press.
GatorTator, 10:42: Well, we'll will also review the "Take 2" questions for Charlie Crist, but this is it for the blogging for now. Thanks for coming.
FriedGator, 10:34: Time for another coffee break. But here's what we learned: Bobby Jindal talks fast and thinks Louisiana pays more in taxes than it does and Charlie Crist, as usual, doesn't know much aside from being for the people.
GatorTator, 10:31: It's over. That was it? He didn't even ask him about President. I guess Charlie isn't a serious contender anymore.
FriedGator, 10:32: I am not sure if there is a leader of the Republican party. The goes on to say Obama is the closest thing because he is the nation's leader.
GatorTator, 10:30: Answer on Senate "I dunno, I am focused on Florida"
FriedGator, 10:29: Charlie Crist on Obama housing plan "I think we might." That is the quote from the interview. Charlie isn't ready to support it. Should have been more.
GatorTator, 10:28: This is anticlimactic, David isn't asking any tough questions. He might as well be with the Tallahassee press corps.
Friedgator, 10:27: Gregory is on to housing.
Friedgator, 10:26: David Gregory is basically handing him this appearance by attacking him as "not really a Republican." So he tees up the elections work he's done.
Friedgator, 10:25: CEO of the state, that's for sure, he's even cooking the budget like a good Wall Street CEO.
GatorTator, 10:24: The tie is as orange as his tan
FriedGator, 10:23: Heeeerrrrre's Charlie

GatorTator, 10:19: Charlie is up after the commercials, lets hope David is a bit tougher on him than he was on Bobby.
FriedGator, 10:18: Jindal won't say he'll serve out his term. Shocking.
GatorTator, 10:17: Whoa -- slow down Bobby. If you talk this fast on Tuesday America won't hear a word you say to rebut Obama.
FriedGator, 10:15: Bobby Jindal says Republicans were "Fired with cause" -- good line.
GatorTator, 10:13: I really wish Bobby and Charlie had been on at the same time. Bobby would have cleaned his clock.
FriedGator, 10:12: Clyburn's Katrina comments are a bit much, but Nagin tells it like it is. That's what happens when you have no future.
FriedGator, 10:10: Bobby Jindal is good. If he slows down how fast he talks, he will be President someday.
FriedGator, 10:06: Louisiana is a donor state? Really? I don't think so Bobby. The tax foundation has you getting $1.45 for every $1 paid in taxes. (Link to the PDF)
FriedGator, 10:04: I wonder if Charlie asked to not be up against him directly, but i am glad he's second.
GatorTator, 10:03: Looks like Bobby Jindal is up first. It's always amazing to me that he has such a thick accent.
FriedGator, 10:02: Charlie Crist is the man "who bucked his party." How did that work out for John McCain.
FriedGator, 10:00: And here we go.
FriedGator, 9:57: On FOX News hey are talking about Obama raising taxes on the rich to balance the budget. If it happens is it Charlie's plan to regain love from Republicans by complaining about those taxes?
FriedGator, 9:50: Watching FOX News before Meet the Press, Brit Hume called Jaun Williams a hero -- I threw up a little in my mouth.
