RPOF Blog is stuck in 2003 while RPOF is stuck in the mud

I have to be honest -- I tend to surf the left side of the web and the news sites- aside from the occasional trips to scope out the websites of Republican candidates. So, I was kinda shocked when I came across the RPOF blog today. Take a look:

First, the content focused on their ridiculous talking points about the EFCA instead of talking about dear leader's dead budget or using that space to defend Michael Steele. But more important it is a Blogger.com blog with all the design sense and engaging writing of a your average political MySpace page.

Last time I saw a political organization with a blog so crappy (couldn't think of a more artful phrase, but its too on the nose) was when Howard Dean launched the first one for a Presidential campaign in 2002. 2002 people.

So they are just behind the times right? Well don't tell that to their communications director  who blogs at Tech Republican- where she makes no mention of their special blog. Maybe they spend all their time on twitter. Republicans love twitter because it allows them to get their typical ten word talking points across,  but it's just as badly done -- just look hereherehere, and here. Let's be honest -- they are just as behind as the national Republican Party.

Why can't they catch up? What else to they have to worry about? Oh yeah ...

So I guess the RPOF has a lot on their plate -- but, if anyone from the RPOF is reading, we humbly offer our services to catch you up to the 21st century. If not, you can just hold an open meeting -- that went so well for the RNC.
