Adam Smith, of the St. Pete Times, has a good blog post and a good article about Charlie Crist this morning. The first is the introduction of the "scientific" Crist-o-Meter to see if Charlie is running for Governor or if he is running for Senate.

Adam's other post links to his article about how everyone is waiting for Charlie to actually lead on the budget crisis we face. It has everyone from Dan Gelber to Mike Fasano sorta criticizing Crist. But the harshest attack comes from Charlie's own actions, described in the third paragraph:
For instance, on Friday, as the state announced that Florida's unemployment rate spiked to 9.4 percent, the highest since Gerald Ford was president, Crist took the day off. The week before, he took two days off.
Charlie "celebrated" Florida's record jobless rate by taking the day off. He takes a lot of days off actually if you look at his schedules. They tend to be Mondays and Fridays, and since that is how the Senate works a lot of the time, maybe that what Crist wants to do.
