Charlie Crist as Mr. Freeze

Charlie Crist is trying real hard to become just like his pal the Governor of California (a liberal Republican who blew a hole in the California budget) and he's taking a bit far by reprising one of Arnold's worst roles: Mr. Freeze in Batman and Robin.

First, on Monday, he was mum on the Senate run, then Roll Call found some people to say Crist was seriously considering a Senate run (read: NRSC Staffers), then finally today he tipped his hand ... Lucy Morgan quotes him as saying he is "more than likely to run for re-election," but added that he was going to discuss it with his new wife and decide after the special session in May...

May? So even as he tips his hand, he freezes out Marco Rubio, Connie Mack, and Vern Buchanan from locking up Crist supporters. So what is up with Charie's Mr. Freeze act?

Well I have a few ideas ...

A) Carole realized she is living in St. Petersberg and Tallahassee, and while I love them both, DC is a tad bit schwankier for a friend of one of Bravo's own Real Housewives.
B) Charlie is thinking of getting out of town before everyone realizes how the budget cuts really are
C) Charlie is thinking of trading in the spray for tanning in DC off the famous "Obama glow"
D) He hates Marco Rubio THAT much

And "all of the above" is just cheating
